As a product of the 70s (with a brief reissue in 1997 headed by Squier), the Fender Musicmaster Bass is a shorter-scale, stripped-down version of the Fender Mustang Bass. But the Musicmaster Bass didn't set the world on fire with its thin sound. The 30' scale was handy for guitarists who occasionally covered on bass. While designed as a companion for the Fender bass of the same name, this Class A/B 6AQ5 powered tube amp has found favor with guitarists for its low wattage and sweet, dynamic tone. Power output: 12 watts, RMS, 26 watts peak music power.
